Software

I have written software of various levels of complexity, in several languages. I can read most computer gobble-de-gook including binary and hexadecimal. I have consulted on user-interfaces and code itself.

In the days of tape-based editing, BBQ allowed a video editor to log and access any frame on a tape by name, number, or any other reference.

CCU was a software "Camera Control Unit" for the first generation of digital signal processing broadcast cameras. 

One of many Arduino-centric programming projects. This one is a twelve-channel  light control, with memory for 99 scenes.

A self-study, interactive course in analog television with over 100 pictures, graphics, and embedded videos.

The digital extension to the above course to introduce the concepts of serial digital television, and the coming new formats in broadcast.
